Romana'S Amaretti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. almond paste
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg whites
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    You will need an icing bag.
    Grate the almond paste in a bowl. Beat the egg whites, then mix with the grated almond paste.
    Mix well with a wooden spoon.
    Fill the icing bag, then squeeze out bottom, forming macaroons.
    Place in neat rows in a cookie sheet lined with foil.
    Top with cherry on each cookie.
