Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. margarine
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    6 eggs
    3 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. cherry juice
Preparation
    Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs; cream together.
    Add flour alternately with milk and cherry juice.
    Add almond and vanilla extracts.
    Fold in cherries last.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
