Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. winter squash (acorn, hubbard, etc.)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, cut up in pieces
    2 eggs
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    butter
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender; drain and scoop out of shell.
    Beat eggs in bowl; add chopped onion, pepper and cheese.
    Stir in squash and pour into a buttered casserole dish.
    Dot with butter and bread crumbs.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    You can use any cheese, not just Parmesan cheese.
