Ingredients

2 lb. butter (not oleo)
16 eggs
1 qt. plus 1 c. sugar (5 c.)
4 to 5 oz. vanilla
flour to make stiff dough
Preparation

Mix butter, eggs and sugar together.
Add vanilla; beat well. Add flour.
Drop by spoonfuls onto hot waffle iron.
Cook until done.
(I usually cut recipe in half!)
