Gouda Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. reduced-calorie margarine
    6 slices thin-sliced whole wheat bread
    1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (2 oz.)
    1 c. shredded Gouda cheese (4 oz.)
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion (about 1 small)
    1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 c. skim milk
    1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce
    3 eggs
    1 egg white
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Spread margarine 1 side of each slice of bread.
    Cut each slice diagonally into 4 triangles.
    Arrange 16 triangles with margarine sides against sides and bottom of ungreased square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2-inches.
    Mix cheeses, onion, garlic, mustard and salt; spread over bread.
    Arrange remaining ingredients; pour over bread.
    Bake uncovered until knife comes out clean when inserted in center, about 1 hour.
    Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
