Chinese-Style Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head green cabbage
    1 tsp. shortening
    2 medium stalks celery, cut into thin, diagonal slices (about 1 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 medium green pepper, cut into thin, diagonal slices (about 1 c.)
    1 large onion, chopped (about 3/4 c.)
Preparation
    Prepare 3 cups finely shredded cabbage.
    Heat shortening in 10-inch skillet until melted.
    Stir in cabbage, celery, green pepper and onion.
    Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring several times, until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
