Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    8 oz. dates
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Soak dates in water.
    Cream egg, vanilla, sugar and butter. Blend in mixer.
    Bake 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
