Gingerbread And Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light molasses
1 well beaten egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 well beaten egg
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. light corn syrup
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
Sauce thickens as it cools.
Stir well before using.
