Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box pasta (shells, elbows, etc.)
    1 onion
    1 bottle French dressing
    8 c. assorted vegetables (raw): broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and celery
    1 can black olives
    mayonnaise
    1 to 2 c. shrimp or chicken
Preparation
    Cook pasta.
    Drain.
    Put
    in bowl and add chopped onion and French dressing.
    Refrigerate 12 hours.
    Next day, add the chopped vegetables (8 cups).
    Just before serving, add olives and mayonnaise\tto
    taste.
    Shrimp, sea legs or chicken may be added.
