Chili Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/4 tsp. instant minced garlic
    1 (16 to 20 oz.) can pinto or red kidney beans
    1 (14 1/2 to 16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet; then put everything in a stock pot.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for around 1 hour.
