4 c. shredded unsweetened coconut
3/4 c. whole wheat pastry flour
1/3 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
3 c. chopped dates
1/4 c. orange juice
1 2/3 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix ingredients well.
Use ice cream scoop to form haystacks. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
