Cream Cheese Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
    Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients (except nuts). Drop by teaspoons onto batter.
    (Optional: run knife through batter.)
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly or when wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
