Practically Perfect Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
    1/2 lb. sweet butter, at room temperature
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 large eggs
    12 oz. chocolate chunks
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix flour, baking soda and salt in bowl and set aside.
    Use mixer to mix 2 sugars briefly at low speed. Add butter first at low speed, then high; beat until it's pale, light and very fluffy.
    Add vanilla at low speed, then high for few seconds.
    Add eggs at low speed, then high until it looks creamed. Add flour, baking soda and salt, 1/2 cup at a time, at low speed for 1 minute, then high speed for few seconds.
    Scrape bowl down on sides; add chocolate chunks and nuts.
    Mix at low speed approximately 10 seconds.
    Put tablespoon of mix on double thickness ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 9 minutes in electric stove, 10 to 11 minutes in gas stove.
