Canadian Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. carrots, diced
1/4 c. flour
1 qt. chicken stock
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. Velveeta cheese
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped fine
1/2 c. onion, diced
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. soda
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Melt butter in large pan.
Add onion, celery and carrots. Saute over low heat until soft.
Add flour and cornstarch and cook until bubbly.
Add stock and milk and stir until smooth.
Add soda and cheese.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add
parsley a few minutes before you serve.
Good with broccoli or cauliflower added.
