Mom'S Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/4 c. melted butter
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. pecans (1 use 1 1/2 c.)
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Put eggs in a blender; blend until eggs are fluffy and light in color.
    Add sugar, syrup and butter, one at a time with blender at low speed.
    Turn off blender and add pecans and fill unbaked pie shell.
    Put foil around the edge of the pie shell.
    Don't cover the filling.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 400\u00b0; reduce oven to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
