Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oats
1 c. walnuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream butter until fluffy.
Add sugars gradually.
Add eggs, rinds and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add flour mixture.
Mix well.
Add remaining ingredients. Mix well by hand.
Drop by teaspoon (or form into small balls and flatten).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Better if stored awhile to blend flavors.
