Dutch Spinach Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. fresh spinach, torn into bite-sized pieces
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 slices bacon, diced
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation

Place spinach and onion in a large serving bowl.
Set aside. In a skillet, saute bacon until crisp.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt and black pepper.
Bring to the boiling point.
Slowly pour hot dressing over spinach and onion.
Toss and serve at once.
Serves 4 to 6.
