Strawberry Charlotte Russe - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. crushed strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. heavy cream, whipped
ladyfingers
Preparation

Put jello in a large bowl.
Add boiling water and stir until dissolved.
Combine strawberries, lemon juice, sugar and salt. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Combine with gelatin mixture. Chill to consistency of beaten egg whites.
Fold in whipped cream.
