Baked Liver - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    liver (beef or pork)
    salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    flour
    onion slices
Preparation
    For beef or pork liver, cut in serving size pieces.
    Dip 3 or 4 times in very hot water.
    Salt to taste and roll in flour.
    Melt shortening in a heavy skillet.
    Place liver in skillet. Put an onion slice on each piece. Bake at 375\u00b0 until tender and brown. Turn over.
