Mock Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
24 Ritz crackers
Preparation

Bring water, sugar and cream of tartar to a boil.
Drop in 24 Ritz crackers, one at a time.
Do not stir.
Cook 5 minutes.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle good with cinnamon and cut up 1/2 stick oleo on top.
Put on top crust.
(Top crust is optional.)
Bake 40 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Serve with scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional).
