Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe
Ingredients

60 cherries with stems
1 lb. chocolate candy
3 Tbsp. margarine
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
Preparation

Drain and dry cherries.
Combine margarine and corn syrup. Stir in confectioners sugar.
Knead mixture until smooth.
Chill if too soft.
Mold mixture around cherries, then cool.
Dip in melted chocolate to coat cherries.
Put on waxed paper.
Keep in refrigerator in covered container 1 to 2 weeks to ripen.
