Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 C. Sugar
    1 Egg
    1\\2 C. Shortening
    1 1\\2 C. Flour
    1 tsp. Salt
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    3 Mashed Bananas
Preparation
    Cream sugar, egg, and shortening in mixing bowl.
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt into creamed mixture.
    Add mashed banana. Blend well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 60 min.
    Check with toothpick.
    Cool on rack. Makes 16 slices.
