Cheese Sausage Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 small sausage links
16 slices sandwich bread
1 c. shredded American cheese
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
Preparation

Cook sausage links in heavy skillet, remove from skillet and drain on paper towel, cut crust from bread slices, roll bread with rolling pin until very thin.
Combine cheese and butter and spread on both sides of bread slices.
Roll up each sausage link in a slice of bread.
Place seam down on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cut each into 4 pieces and serve hot.
Yields 64 canapes.
