Meat And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lamb or beef (ground)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion, chopped
    5 or 6 potatoes, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. dry mint
    4 or 5 eggs
Preparation
    Parboil cut potatoes and drain off water.
    Saute onion in butter until lightly golden, then add ground meat and seasonings. Cook for about 5 minutes.
    Butter casserole.
    Alternate a layer of potatoes with a layer of meat, ending with potatoes.
    Mix eggs, dry mint, salt and pepper together.
    Beat lightly and pour over potato casserole.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes, until done.
