Butter Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. white raisins
1/4 lb. green candied cherries, chopped
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1/4 lb. red candied cherries
1 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream margarine, flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs and add sugar; mix well.
Add this mixture to the margarine and flour and mix well.
Add chopped fruits, nuts and raisins; mix.
Add vanilla.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
(If tube pan is not available, use loaf pan.)
Bake at 275\u00b0 for about 2 hours. Invert pan to cool.
To remove, run spatula around edges, including tube.
