Refrigerator Potato Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. milk
5 c. flour (about)
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
Preparation

In a large mixer bowl, stir together 2 cups of flour and the yeast.
In saucepan, heat milk, shortening, sugar and salt until scalded.
Add mashed potatoes if cold, also eggs if cold.
All ingredients have to be warm.
Add to dry mixture in bowl.
Beat at slow speed for 1/2 minute, scraping sides of bowl constantly.
Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
By hand, stir in enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough.
Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease surface.
Cover; refrigerate several hours or up to one week.
