Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter or Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. plain flour
6 large eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon flavor
Preparation

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together (set aside). Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Add flavor to milk; alternate milk and flour.
Let flour end last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
