Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar (scant)
    1 c. pecans
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together; add the sugar, then the egg, well beaten.
    Then add the milk and lastly, the nuts, rolled in flour.
    Give it 20 minutes to rise, then bake in a moderate oven, 350\u00b0, until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
