Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn, remove unpopped kernels
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 Tbsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil margarine, sugar, syrup and cream of tartar for 5 minutes in a saucepan.
    Remove from heat.
    Add soda; stir well.
    (Use a buttered aluminum dishpan to hold popcorn.) Pour heated mixture over popped corn, mixing well to coat.
    Place in a 250\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Stir popped corn often.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool. Store in airtight container.
