Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    4 c. (1 lb.) powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter.
    Add powdered sugar, a little at a time.
    Add milk as needed.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Should be soft and creamy.
    Great for Christmas cookies.
