Buttermilk Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
2 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 rounded c. shortening
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
Preparation

Mix Nabisco Bran with boiling water; cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix in a large, large bowl.
Keep in covered container in refrigerator, using when needed.
When you want to use, do not stir.
Just dip out and fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Batter keeps 2 to 4 weeks in refrigerator.
