Yummy Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onions, chopped or sliced
    1 c. celery, cut on the bias
    2 c. carrots, julienned
    2 c. cabbage, cut in 1-inch squares
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Arrange the onions, celery, carrots and cabbage in saucepan in layers as listed.
    Sprinkle the sugar, salt, margarine and water over vegetables.
    Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
