Yogurt Dill Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. dried dill weed
1 (8 oz.) carton plain yogurt
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preparation

Grease an 8-inch tube pan.
In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, yeast and dill weed; set aside.
In medium saucepan, heat and stir the yogurt, sugar, water, butter and salt just until warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0) and butter almost melts.
Add to flour mixture. Add egg.
Beat with electric mixer on low to medium for 30 seconds, scraping sides of bowl. Beat on high for 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour.
Spoon batter into pan. Cover and let rise, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Makes 1 loaf.
