Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. onion, chopped
    3 c. chopped tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. parsley
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter and oil until soft.
    Add chopped tomatoes, thyme, basil, parsley and black pepper.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Mix flour with 1/2 cup of the chicken broth until smooth.
    Add the 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth and chicken-flour mixture to the tomatoes.
    Add baking soda, sugar, cream and pinch of salt to the tomatoes.
    Simmer on low for 25 minutes.
