Sausage Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot sausage
    1 large chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. meal
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 (large) can creamed corn
    1/4 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Brown hot sausage and onion.
    Drain.
    Mix meal, baking powder, salt, milk, eggs, creamed corn and salad oil.
    In greased pan, pour meal mix.
    Top with sausage and onion.
    Top with 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese.
    Pour rest of batter on top.
    Bake 35 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Cool for 10 minutes and serve in squares.
