Cranberry Nut Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. apple-raspberry juice (frozen concentrate)
    1 c. cranberries, coarsely ground
    1/2 c. dates, chopped
    2 Tbsp. honey
    whole wheat dough
Preparation
    Bring concentrate to a boil; add cranberries and dates.
    Cover and cook until moist and thickened.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add honey. Remove from heat and stir in nuts.
    Cool completely.
    Roll dough into a rectangle 20 x 6-inches, 1/2 inch thick.
    Spread filling over center third of dough lengthwise.
    On each long side, cut 1-inch slices, 2 inches long.
    Starting at one end, fold strips at an angle across filling, alternating from side to side.
    Place bread on oiled cookie sheet.
    Gently brush top of bread with 2 tablespoons apple juice concentrate.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until almost doubled.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
    Serves 24.
