Marinated Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cans unsweetened pineapple chunks
    4 Tbsp. white vinegar
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    3 to 4 cinnamon sticks
    18 cloves
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and reserve liquid.
    Simmer in a large saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes 1 cup of pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
    Add drained pineapple chunks and continue heating 5 minutes.
    Refrigerate for 3 to 4 days.
    Serve in a clear glass bowl, with frilly toothpicks.
