Batter Fried Fresh Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    dash of pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 to 1 c. water or milk
    1 lb. desired fresh vegetables
    vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Combine all dry ingredients in medium bowl; stir to mix.
    Add egg and enough liquid to make batter the consistency of pancake batter.
