Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    single 9-inch crust
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Line pie pan with crust.
    Cream Crisco and vanilla.
    Gradually add sugars beating after each addition.
    Add beaten eggs in thirds, beating after each addition.
    Thoroughly blend in chopped pecans, corn syrup and salt.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Arrange pecans halves over top of filling.
    Continue to bake for 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
    Goes well with ice cream.
