6 Week Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. 100% Bran cereal
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. oil
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. raisins
dates and nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine cereal and boiling water.
Set aside.
Add oil to cereal mixture.
Mix together flour, salt, sugar (you can use less sugar than suggested) and soda.
Add beaten eggs and buttermilk; mix well.
Stir in cereal mixture.
Add raisins, nuts, dates or other fruit.
Spoon into well-greased muffin tins.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
