Pat'S Czech Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken or chicken parts
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    salt to taste
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. heaping Tbsp. shortening
    milk (enough to make dough)
Preparation
    Boil chicken pieces in large pan of water.
    Salt to taste and add garlic (for seasoning).
    After chicken is cooked, remove and debone; set aside.
