Peas In White Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    2 medium potatoes
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
    1/2 stick margarine
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Peel and cut potatoes into large chunks.
    Cook potatoes with margarine in 3 cups of water until just done.
    Add green peas the last 6 minutes of cooking.
    Remove from heat.
    Combine cornstarch with 1 cup of cold water, stirring until smooth.
    Add to peas slowly while stirring.
    Stir until blended.
    Return to medium heat just until sauce is desired consistency.
    Serves 4 to 6.
