Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 lb. lean ground pork
    2 eggs
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Soak bread crumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
    Add ground meats, eggs, onion, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, allspice and nutmeg and refrigerate, covered, for 1 hour.
    Shape into balls and bake for 15 minutes or until browned.
    Put in crock-pot.
    Add 1/2 can of beef consomme, pepper and remaining salt.
    Cover and cook 4 to 6 hours on low, 2 to 3 hours on high.
