Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. margarine
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add beaten egg yolks and milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
Remove from heat; add margarine and vanilla.
Beat until smooth and add coconut.
Pour into baked pie crust; top with meringue and sprinkle with coconut.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 or 10 minutes or until meringue is lightly brown.
