Cherry Wink Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. corn flakes
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. dates, finely cut up
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. maraschino cherries, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. margarine, soft
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    15 maraschino cherries, cut in quarters
Preparation
    Crush corn flakes and set aside.
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    Beat margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Stir in milk and vanilla. Add flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Stir in nuts, dates and chopped cherries.
    Shape into small balls. Roll in corn flakes. Place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheet.
    Top with cherry quarters (ball flattens a bit).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
