Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    2 cans cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
    1 lb. or 1 large pkg. grated cheese
    1 box medium Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Cook
    squash and onions in sugar and salt until tender; drain. Heat
    soup.
    Alternate layers of crackers, squash mix, soup
    and cheese until all ingredients fill a casserole.
    Bake in
    a preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is golden brown on top.
