Chinese Asparagus - cooking recipe

3 c. sliced asparagus
1 Tbsp. canola oil
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 minced garlic cloves
Preparation

Snap of woody base of asparagus stalk at breaking point where tender part begins.
Slice on extreme diagonal, approximately 1 1/2-inches long.
