Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large or 4 medium apples, peeled and chopped
    1 1/2 c. salad oil (Canola)
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add the vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Mix well.
    Fold in the chopped apples and nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 50 minutes.
    When cool, slice and top with whipped topping to serve.
