Apples With Honey Sauce(Modern) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 medium apples
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
6 Tbsp. honey

Preparation

Pare and core apples.
Mix flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Cut in shortening.
Add milk; mix to form soft dough.
Roll dough into 12 x 8-inch rectangle; cut into 6 squares.
