German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. diced apples
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine ingredients in order given.
    Add apples and nuts last after other ingredients are thoroughly combined.
    Pour into a 10-inch greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until done.
    Top with Brown Sugar Sauce.
